Jena Malone (natural November 21, 1984) is an American actress.
Malone was born & raised within Lake Tahoe, Nevada, where she lived until she was X. She began ingesting an interest inside acting fallowing watching her mother, world health organization was required inside community theatre. She briefly moved to Las Vegas, hated it, & persuaded her mother to move in to Los Angeles. Starting dispatch by owning music training videos & commercial message, she processed a go for it to feature using a 1996 film Bastard Out of Carolina. She was to win a Independent Spirit Award for Best Debut Performance & the Screen Actors Guild Award for even Outstanding Performance within the TV Moving-picture show or Miniseries for this role.
From either there, her roles grew inside stature, including many Hollywood features. Around 1997, she won a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress around the TV Film, for her role within Hope.
When many years of existence homeschooled, she briefly attended a Professional Children's School in New York, but did not last long. Inside January 2000, Malone won legal emancipation from either her mother, barring her from interfering by using her career & earnings.
Malone was the co-producer for the 2002 film American Girl, the teenaged comedy which she besides acted within. She was due to feature in the film Vinyl, but experienced to withdraw due to cinematography conflicts, & was replaced by Michelle Trachtenberg.
Within 2004, Malone was Punk'd by Ashton Kutcher after going on a joy ride in the wrong car with her Saved! co-star Patrick Fugit.
She is presently researching photography and living in Lake Tahoe.
